We had a wonderful evening yesterday. The food & drinks from ValeFritz where delicious, the music Tina played was awesome, there were good vibes and great people. Thanks a lot ♥.

As announced before we also launched the Kimandra nudestekker rucksack. Handmade with a lot of love by the designer, minims paired with detail (every single bag is stamped and numbered) and there are hundered ways of caring it. As a little special the designer also made a fitting wrap skirt in the same tones as the rucksack.

Lucia's Pick N°1

As already written before, we made some changes. One of the new things we will start doing is a section called "Lucia's Pick". It came into my mind when I met Lucia at Kostume, where she was assisting me with the styling. She is one of those people that just found a very authentic way of representing their personality through clothes, while experimenting with styles and expressions. So now the idea is that Lucia will walk though our atelier once a week and pick a whole outfit. The outfit can be purchased only as whole with a fix price.

This Saturday Kimandra was on the catwalk for the 4th time, at Kostume N°3. I was really happy about the result, and really relieved that everything went that well, as this time i was responsible for the styling and the backstage management. The show took place at one of the best possible locations, the very spacious Freitag production hall, that just added a lot to the flair of the whole event. The idea of the Kimandra collection was to get a clean urban hippie feeling, with soft tones on one hand and on the other some stronger colours to contrast. I wanted to have something light, fun and charming. Hope you like it!

Some time ago some friends and I decided to start a collective to support each other with current projects. Last week we had our debut with a Tea Party. We converted a gardenlabyrinth into a forbidden garden and invited guests to join us to have tea and champagne.

We had and amazing evening, with lots of nice people and a beautiful ambiance.

This Saturday the 17th of April Kimandra will be back on the catwalk at Kostume N°2. The show will be taking place again in Walcheturm, Zurich. There will be a great line-up with young swiss labels, designers and stores, as well as some from abroad. Kimandra will this time as well do the styling for the show, together with a great make-up artist and hair team.

Additionally a reader specially made for Kostume will be launched, where all the labels will be presented and accompanied by some interesting texts about art and fashion in general.

We are very happy to announce that our clothes can be finally found in the real world as well and are no longer just hidden in our stockrooms until they are being shipped to our customers.
Frau Meise Kaffee und Design Kultur is a new café, boutique and space for expositions in Baden, just a few minutes away from Zurich. The nice location in the old part of the city with its beautiful interior are managed by a super friendly owner. Breakfast is being served all day and you have the opportunity to shop, see art exhibitions and attend events.
We are really excited that a fine selection of our clothes and accessories is being sold at her café and that we got the possibilty to be part of such a great place.

The OPENING EVENT takes place on August 29th, Saturday, starting at 17.00.
